Ovenden Allworks constructed the rallycross surface at the FIA approved RallyCross track, Lydden Hill in Kent.

The track hosts a leg of the World Rallycross Championship and is subject to serious racing and the wear that comes with it.

The Project

The Project

The rally element of the track was constructed of tarmac plainings bound with cement to provide a structurally solid material, that maintains a loose surface to provide the track with its transition between bound tarmac section and challenging driving experience.

These works were completed using Ovenden's in-house plant, including excavators, roller, bob cat with grader attachment and Ovenden concrete's volumetric mixer.

Ovenden Allworks also built the rallycross modifications on the Top Gear track.
